The products selected for parents of kindergartners are listed in this group. These items are needed to begin the school year. The kit contains one student text. The student text provides huge models for finger-tracing and finger writing of invisible letters. The student text is also available alone for those who have more than one student. It is not intended for student writing. The children should write on chalkboard, unlined paper or the pages printed from e-workbooks at the center. Early on, you can also use a cookie sheet sprinkeld with corn starch or flour for writing with the pointer finger.

The Finger Fitter thick triangular pencils last a long time. One dozen may be enough for the entire year if you do not let the children sharpen them frequently. A dull point is preferred. It makes a broad trace that is easy to see without pressure. They help to develop a correct, relaxed grip that will enable fluency later on. The nversion with no eraser is recommended for handwriting lessons. We want the child to make the complete letter several times, pick the best and try again rather than stopping mid-letter to erase.

The E-workbook (EWprint1) is optional, a convenience for those who wish to be able to print pages at home. The center has these files availble for printing.

There may be additional optional products added at a later time as parents indicate need and interest.
